The Hurting, The Lost, and The Cross (page 88)
This poem starts out speaking of Christmas and the arrival of Jesus. The Father's answer to the fall of man. Yes, God's plan is always the best. Due to the fall there then became hurting and lost people. Jesus came to bridge the gap between man and God, to bring the hurting and the lost into the righteousness of the Father. For all of this, God's will, to be done it then came to the Cross.

What Would Jesus Do (page 87)
So many times I have heard someone say "WWJD". This poem was inspired because of that expression. When you stop and think about it as Christians we should always be ready to answer that when it is asked. See as believers once we accept Jesus in our hearts we then are indwelled with the Holy Spirit. He is the One who tells us what Jesus would do. God's Word is the explanation of "WWJD"!

Wit's End (page 86)
This poem came about after seeing a poster that read, "When you get to your wit's end you will find that God lives there." How true that is. We also find ourselves at our wit's end very often. We ask ourselves in desperation, "what am I going to do?" Well, my friends, if you give it to God, He will take it from there. But we must have "Faith". Remember in the Book of Matthew, Jesus said we need "faith the size of a mustard seed." If you have that with you at your wit's end God will handle the rest!

I Need To Talk, Lord (page 85)
So many times I hear of family, friends, or church family that are hurting in some form. It could be physically, spiritually or maybe with finances. My heart goes out to them and I need an answer on how to help them. For sure we do not have all the answers but my friends, God does. What I find in my daily life is I talk with Him almost constantly. The Holy Spirit may direct me to a certain passage in the Bible that gives me the insight on how I can help. Thank You, Lord for always being there to listen.

A Hug (page 84)
A lot of times we go through life and it seems we are facing these uncertain times on our own. Oh, our faith may be strong but it would be nice to get a little encouragement. Then without warning someone, a family member or maybe even a friend, could even be someone you don't really know offers to give you a hug. Just to say, "I pray this will help"! Well, this poem is about that hug and God being behind the hugging.

At the Feet Of Jesus (page 83)
This poem should be the statement for all Christians who love the Lord. When we surrender our lives to Him no there place will do for use. In the bible the Book of Luke Chapter 7 verses 36-38 it tells of a sinful woman who wept tears on Jesus feet and then wiped them with her hair. She then anointed them with oil from her alabaster jar. She knew what it meant to be at His feet and worship Him.
