I Love You, He Said  (page 7)

This was an inspired poem for Easter.  It is a poem written for Good Friday.  Hard to believe that when you read the poem "good" comes through.  But my friends, Friday comes before Sunday.  I truly believe the hardest part on that Friday for Jesus was "My Father, why have You forsaken me?"  See, Jesus took the pain, and the shame.  But when God turned His back on His own son... See, God had to for attached to His son was our sin!  To me God's answer is in the title of the poem, for what He says to His son, because of Easter Sunday He will say to each of us, because of Jesus, "I love You, He said"!!
