What Makes It Great  (page 67)

I like this poem for there are a lot of comparisons in it.  Beginning and an end, enemies and friends, love and hate, average and great.  Life is full of the one thing or the other.  What it comes down to is choice.  We choose love or hate.  Yes, even to average or great.  Some doctors or lawyers paid a price for their chosen profession, money for the schooling and their time to study and learn.  I like the end of this poem; I am a winner through Christ Jesus, Him living in me, is what makes it great!  My friends, I had to choose Him, He already chose me.
