I guess this poem is a question that each of us has to answer on our own. This is how I answer it. See, the poem asks two questions, why do I love Him, why did He suffer for me? Well, it comes down to love. Because of His love for me, and of course you, and our love for Him. All we have to do is choose. See, over 2000 years ago Christ died on the cross for us. This is the 2nd stanza in this poem;
Why did He do it?
Why did He suffer all that pain?
It was all because of love,
and I know He would do it again!
